TX Summer Shootout Recap: $47,331 Paid Out Over Two Days

Cinch BRC's TX Summer Shootout ran two full days of breakaway roping across six divisions each day, and when the dust settled, the total told the story: $47,331 paid out between Day 1 and Day 2. Audrey Fish was the story of the weekend, banking Champion titles in three different ropings and closing in on $10,000 across the two days. Jean Poythress swept the top two spots in the #2 American Hat Shootout, and Braylyn Glenn closed out Day 2 with the #1 Smarty Shootout win and two fast times in the same roping.

Here's how it all went down.

Day 1

total feeds open — Lainey Gross Tops the open

Lainey Gross topped the Open at 18.36 on 3 for $1,285, with McKinley Croffut right behind at 19.50 on 3 for $855. Lainey backed up the win with Fast Time in Round 1 at 2.92, and Gracie Roseberry took Fast Time in Round 2 at 2.52. $2,540 paid out in this roping.

#5 Cinch Slide — Molly Boedeker Claims the Slide

Molly Boedeker topped the average at 8.66 on 3 for $1,800, with Rylie Edens 2nd at 9.19 for $1,080 and Zaylee Charmasson 3rd at 9.58 for $720. Rylie Edens claimed Fast Time in both rounds — 2.61 in Round 1 and 2.56 in Round 2 — but it was Molly who topped the average outright. $4,000 paid out in this roping!

#3 Priefert Handicap — Audrey Fish Sets the Tone

Audrey Fish opened her weekend with a win, topping the average at 8.24 on 3 for $2,290. Sadey Yates ran 2nd at 8.36 for $1,710, Zaylee Charmasson 3rd at 9.76 for $1,150, and Macy Moody 4th at 10.45 for $570. Audrey backed up the win with Fast Time in Round 1 at 2.12, and Jean Poythress claimed Fast Time in Round 2 at 2.44. $6,520 paid out total.

#2 American Hat Shootout — Jacklyn Pullen Leads Off

Jacklyn Pullen topped the average at 11.53 on 3 for $920, with Kolbie Neisius 2nd at 12.47 for $550 and Lily Williams 3rd at 19.76 for $360. Jean Poythress claimed Fast Time in Round 1 at 3.37, and Liza Johnson took Fast Time in Round 2 at 3.16. $2,430 paid out in this roping alone.

#1 Smarty Shootout — Kale Ruddy Tops a Tight Field

Kale Ruddy topped the average at 14.67 on 3 for $250, with Braylyn Glenn 2nd at 15.48 for $170. Sage Grizzle claimed Fast Time in Round 1 at 4.38, Braylyn Glenn took Fast Time in Round 2 at 3.92, and Cutter Grizzle closed it out with the Short Round Fast Time at 3.96.

Youth 12 & Under — Rayna Powell Claims the Youth

Rayna Powell topped the average at 10.96 on 3 for $570, with Charlie Sohrt 2nd at 11.25 for $340 and Kolbie Neisius 3rd at 11.52 for $230. Molly Boedeker claimed Fast Time in Round 1 at 2.91, Kolbie Neisius backed up her 3rd-place finish with Fast Time in Round 2 at 3.21, and Hardi Herring closed it out with the Short Round Fast Time at 2.34.

Day 1 paid out $17,650 across all six ropings.

Day 2

Total Feeds, Inc. Open — McKinley Croffut Answers Back

McKinley Croffut backed up the win with Fast Time in Round 1 at 3.07, and Kashlee Schumacher claimed Fast Time in Round 2 at 3.00. We paid out $3,740 in this roping!

#5 Cinch Slide — Audrey Fish Doubles Up

Audrey Fish didn't just win it outright at 7.80 on 3 for $2,190 — she also landed 3rd at 8.45 for $1,095, going a combined $3,285 in this roping alone. Molly Boedeker ran 2nd at 8.09 for $1,645, and Dylynn Dewbre placed 4th at 9.90 for $550. Kashlee Schumacher claimed Fast Time in Round 1 at 2.42, and Round 2 came down to a tie between Audrey Fish and Dylynn Dewbre, both stopping the clock at 2.67. $6,280 paid out in this roping alone.

#3 Priefert Handicap — Audrey Fish Completes the Sweep

Audrey Fish topped the average again at 7.70 on 3 for $3,374, with Molly Boedeker 2nd at 8.01 for $2,410, Dylynn Dewbre 3rd at 9.03 for $1,832, Kelsie Hunnicutt 4th at 9.38 for $1,350, and Brynn Coy 5th at 9.46 for $675. Audrey backed up the win with Fast Time in Round 1 at 1.93, Molly Boedeker took 2nd Fast Time in Round 1 at 2.57, Rayna Powell claimed Fast Time in Round 2 at 2.44, and Dylynn Dewbre took 2nd Fast Time in Round 2 at 2.51. We paid out $10,841 in this roping alone!

Between the #5 Cinch Slide and the #3 Priefert Handicap, Audrey Fish walked away from Day 2 with two Champion titles and $5,564 — closing out the full weekend with close to $10,000 banked across both days.

#2 American Hat Shootout — Jean Poythress Sweeps the Field

Jean Poythress swept the top two spots outright — 1st at 10.65 for $1,890 and 2nd at 11.02 for $1,350, banking $3,240 combined. Kolbie Neisius ran 3rd at 11.71 for $1,025, Jacklyn Pullen 4th at 12.27 for $755, and Taylor Polensky 5th at 12.54 for $380. Jean backed up the sweep with Fast Time in Round 2 at 3.31. Carly Gifford claimed Fast Time in Round 1 at 3.06, Brynlee Lyday took 2nd Fast Time in Round 1 at 3.17, and Jacklyn Pullen grabbed 2nd Fast Time in Round 2 at 3.58. $6,300 was paid out when it was all said and done.

Youth 12 & Under — Haze Stoll Claims the Youth

Haze Stoll topped the average at 13.51 on 3 for $510, with Rayna Powell 2nd for $305 and Gunner Overcash 3rd for $205. Kolbie Neisius claimed Fast Time in Round 1 at 3.11, Kaleb Ruddy took Fast Time in Round 2 at 4.13, and Hardi Herring closed it out with Fast Time in Round 3 at 3.83.

#1 Smarty Shootout — Braylyn Glenn Closes It Out

Braylyn Glenn topped the average at 11.24 on 3 for $540, with Sage Grizzle 2nd at 11.57 for $360. Braylyn claimed Fast Time in both Round 1 (3.91) and Round 3 (3.11) — turning in the fast time not once but twice on her way to the win. Sage Grizzle grabbed Fast Time in Round 2 at 3.77. $1,200 paid out in this roping alone.

Day 2 paid out $29,681 across all six ropings!

Mama Of 'Em All Recap: 249 Ropers, $35,750 Paid Out, and a Weekend Cheyenne Won't Forget

Cinch BRC rolled into Cheyenne, Wyoming on July 26 for the Mama Of 'Em All Super Qualifier, and the numbers alone tell you it was a big one: 249 entries and $35,750 paid out across six ropings at Laramie County Community College. But the real story was in the box — double champions, a stacked #2 roping, and a first-ever PWRC Qualifier Series announcement that raised the stakes even higher.

Here's how it all went down.

Total Feeds, Inc. Open — Hadley Thompson Banks the First of Two Titles

Hadley Thompson opened her weekend with the Total Feeds, Inc. Open Championship — the first sign that this was going to be her roping.

Thompson didn't just win it outright — she also landed 3rd, going a combined $5,600 in this roping alone. Brooklyn Bell claimed Fast Time in Round 1 at 2.45, and Amanda Terrell took Fast Time in Round 2 at 2.02.

#5 Cinch Slide — Hadley Thompson Does It Again

Thompson wasn't done. She turned right around and topped the #5 Cinch Slide too, going 10.10 on 3 to take the win outright.

Brooklyn Bell laid down the fastest run of Round 1 at 2.40, with Blakley Boardman right behind at 2.44. Round 2 came down to a three-way tie for fast time between Sydney Smith, Brylee Grubb, and Tiersyn Grubb, all stopping the clock at 2.60.

Between the Open and the Slide, Hadley Thompson walked away with two Champion titles and $8,850 — and gave all the glory back to God.

#3 Priefert Handicap — Molly Boedeker's Standout Weekend

The #3 Handicap paid out $9,870, and it was Molly Boedeker's name all over the leaderboard.

Boedeker topped the roping outright, then backed it up with 2nd Fast Time in Round 1 at 2.72. Brooklynn Bell claimed Fast Time in Round 1 at 2.63, and Round 2 was close — Blakely Boardman took Fast Time at 2.66, tied by Vanessa Caverly and Brittney Blair for 2nd Fast at the same 2.66.

#2 American Hat Shootout — Adell Hegge Sweeps the Top Two

The #2 American Hat Shootout paid out $5,320, and Adell Hegge made sure most of it came home with her — sweeping both the #1 and #2 spots outright.

Kylie Simshauser also grabbed Fast Time in Round 1 at 3.0, and Harper Schneider took Fast Time in Round 2 at 2.85.

#1 Smarty Shootout — Skylar Self Takes the Win

Skylar Self topped the #1 Smarty Shootout with a 17.78 on 3, taking home $120 and a Champion title of her own.

Youth 12 & Under — Molly Boedeker's Second Title of the Weekend

Boedeker wasn't finished. She also topped the Youth 12 & Under with the win going for $240, giving her two titles and $3,350 for the weekend — the same standout run Hadley Thompson put together in the Open and Slide.

A First: The PWRC Qualifier Series‍ ‍

Mama Of 'Em All also marked Cinch BRC's first event as an official 2027 PWRC Qualifier Series stop, with the Open, #5, #3, and #2 all counting toward qualification. Ropers needed a PWR ID Card and a class nomination through the VRQ to be eligible — a new layer of opportunity on top of the added money and the 2027 Cinch BRC Finale Super Qualifier status already on the line.

Firework Showdown Brings the Heat to Jacksboro

The fireworks started a day early in Jacksboro, Texas.

Breakaway ropers gathered at Richards Ranch on July 3 for the Cinch Breakaway Roping Championships Firework Showdown, a $5,000-added 2027 Cinch BRC Finale Super Qualifier that brought ropers across multiple classifications together for a full night of competition.

From the #1 Smarty Shootout to the Total Feeds Open, the Firework Showdown put the Cinch BRC classification system to work and gave ropers the opportunity to compete within their level.

The result was fast runs, tight averages, and a few races that came down to hundredths of a second.

Sage Grizzle Takes the #1 Smarty Shootout

The #1 Smarty Shootout came down to three head, with Sage Grizzle stopping the clock at 12.77 seconds on three to take the win and $540.

Quaid Terry finished second with a 14.38 on three, earning $360.

The #1 division is built specifically for beginning ropers competing on the Smarty sled, creating a place for newer competitors to back into the box and gain experience in a competitive setting.

The speed picked up throughout the roping, with Quinn Oxley posting a 5.23 in Round 1 and Grizzle answering with a 3.36 in Round 2. Hardy Terry then stopped the clock in 2.98 seconds in the short go.

Dalli Carlos Tops the #2 American Hat Company Shootout

It was a close race in the #2 American Hat Company Shootout, but Dalli Carlos stayed solid across three rounds to finish with a 10.15 on three, earning the championship and $2,930.

Carlos edged Bristol Harris, who finished just seven hundredths behind with a 10.22 on three for $2,040.

Macey Anderson finished third with an 11.96, followed by Jill Edwards at 12.24, Kassidy Vaughn at 12.79, and Kylee Hawkins at 13.74.

Carlos also clocked a 3.32 to win Round 1, while she and Liza Johnson each stopped the clock at 2.86 seconds in Round 2.

The #2 division is designed for ropers competing on soft calves and gives developing competitors the opportunity to rope against others within their classification.

Necaise Sisters Split the #4 Priefert Handicap Championship

One time. Two champions.

Jenna Necaise and Joanna Necaise each finished the #4 Priefert Handicap with a 9.33 on three, splitting the average championship and earning $3,550 each.

Behind them, Crosby Casebolt finished third with a 9.69 on three for $2,160. Genttrie Vanorsdol took fourth with a 10.16, Gracie Lewis finished fifth at 10.23, and Audrey Fish rounded out the top six with a 10.39.

The round money told just as much of the story.

Joanna Necaise started with a 2.64 to win Round 1, while Zoe Carpenter clocked a 2.69 for the second-fastest time and Jenna Necaise posted a 2.98.

Jenna came back even faster in Round 2, stopping the clock at 2.44 seconds. Chaney Sellers followed with a 2.49 and a 2.97.

When the average was settled, the Necaise sisters couldn't be separated.

Zoey Carpenter Wins the Total Feeds Open

In the Total Feeds Open, Zoey Carpenter put together three runs for a 9.44 on three to take the championship and $2,040.

Payton Johnson finished second with a 13.52 on three, earning $1,360.

The round race stayed quick. Mayce Maren posted a 3.24 in Round 1, and Johnson answered with a 2.78-second run in Round 2.

Built for Every Level of Breakaway Roper

The Firework Showdown was another look at exactly what the Cinch BRC classification system was built to do.

A roper stepping into the box in the #1 Smarty Shootout should have a place to compete.

A #2 roper should be able to rope on soft calves against competitors within her level.

A #4 should be able to enter a handicap roping and have a real shot at the pay window.

And Open ropers should have a place to back in and let it roll.

Different classifications. Different stages of the game. One system built to create more opportunities in breakaway roping.

The Firework Showdown was a 2027 Cinch BRC Finale Super Qualifier, giving competitors another opportunity to be part of what is ahead for the Cinch Breakaway Roping Championships.

2026 Cinch BRC Finale Results: Champions Crowned in Oklahoma City

The 2026 Cinch Breakaway Roping Championships Finale brought breakaway ropers to Oklahoma City for three days of competition, April 10–12.

With $300,000 paid out across the weekend, plus Cactus Saddlery saddles, Rattler rope bags, a Smarty sled and an incredible lineup of prizes, there was plenty on the line inside the OG&E Coliseum.

Built around the Cinch BRC classification system, the Finale gave ropers the opportunity to compete at their level across eight divisions. From the #1 Smarty Shootout to the Total Feeds Open, each division brought its own set of competitors and champions.

After three days of competition, eight average champions left Oklahoma City with Cinch BRC Finale titles.

Day One: Total Feeds Open and #5 Cinch Slide

The 2026 Cinch BRC Finale kicked off with the Total Feeds Open and #5 Cinch Slide.

Total Feeds Open Champion: Jami Garison

Jami Garison claimed the Total Feeds Open Average Championship with a time of 11.61 seconds on three head.

Chloe Lambert finished second with an 11.69 on three, followed by Jacey Milligan with a 12.36 on three.

The Total Feeds Open also saw fast times throughout the competition. Marissa Boisjoli stopped the clock at 2.50 seconds in Round One, while Hailey Jo Hall delivered a 2.40-second run in Round Two.

#5 Cinch Slide Champion: Chloe Lambert

Chloe Lambert rose to the top of the #5 Cinch Slide, winning the average with a time of 8.07 seconds on three head.

Arina Dee Haugen finished second with an 8.35 on three, and Colee Cox rounded out the top three with a 9.13 on three.

Lambert also set the pace in Round One with a 2.30-second run. Arina Dee Haugen earned the Round Two fast time with a 2.04.

Day Two: #5 HC and #3 Priefert HC

Competition continued on Day Two with the #5 HC and #3 Priefert HC.

#5 HC Champion: Marissa Boisjoli

Marissa Boisjoli secured the #5 HC Average Championship with a time of 7.46 seconds on three head.

Zaylee Charmasson followed with a 7.69 on three, while McKinley Croffut finished third with an 8.25 on three.

Molly Boedeker turned in a 2.00-second run to earn the Round One fast time, and Shania Johnston stopped the clock at 1.57 seconds for the Round Two fast time.

#3 Priefert HC Champion: Molly Boedeker

Molly Boedeker added an average championship to her Finale weekend, winning the #3 Priefert HC with a time of 7.14 seconds on three head.

Arina Dee Haugen finished second with a 7.72 on three, followed closely by Shay Griswold with a 7.79 on three.

Dot Veatch earned the Round One fast time with a 1.60-second run, while Boedeker returned to stop the clock at 2.04 seconds for the Round Two fast time.

Day Three: #2 American hat Shootout, #1 smarty shootout and Youth Breakaway Champions

The final day of the 2026 Cinch BRC Finale featured the #2 American Hat Shootout, #1 Smarty Shootout and two youth breakaway divisions.

#2 American Hat Shootout Champion: Mollie Devereaux

Mollie Devereaux claimed the #2 American Hat Shootout Average Championship with a time of 7.97 seconds on three head.

Kaylee Dailey finished second with an 8.75 on three, while Raley Mae Valdez finished third with a 9.07 on three.

Devereaux also delivered a 2.70-second fast time in Round One. Clementine Teague earned the Round Two fast time with a 2.56-second run.

#1 Smarty Shootout Champion: Ransom Parsons

Ransom Parsons came out on top of the #1 Smarty Shootout with a time of 8.86 seconds on three head.

Sage Grizzle finished second with a 9.63 on three, followed by Zadee Shepherd with a 10.17 on three.

Parsons set the Round One fast time at 2.40 seconds. Lincoln Krist earned the Round Two fast time with a 2.84, before Lincoln Krist and Charlea Ward each stopped the clock at 3.02 seconds in Round Three.

Youth 16 & Under Breakaway Champion: Dot Veatch

Dot Veatch claimed the Youth 16 & Under Breakaway Average Championship with a time of 7.12 seconds on three head.

Crosby Casebolt finished second with a 7.58 on three, and Hardi Herring finished third with a 7.71 on three.

Crosby Casebolt earned the Round One fast time with a 2.07-second run, while Abilene McGee delivered a 1.96-second run for the Round Two fast time.

Youth 12 & Under Breakaway Champion: Molly Boedeker

Molly Boedeker closed out an impressive Finale with the Youth 12 & Under Breakaway Average Championship, finishing with a time of 9.70 seconds on three head.

Hardi Herring claimed both second and third in the average with times of 10.25 and 11.00 on three, respectively. Reese Widener finished fourth with an 11.48 on three.

Boedeker earned the Round One fast time with a 2.78-second run, while Hardi Herring stopped the clock at 2.85 seconds for the Round Two fast time.

More Than $300,000 Paid Out in Oklahoma City

Across three days and eight divisions, the 2026 Cinch BRC Finale paid out over $300,000 to contestants and awarded an incredible lineup of prizes.

From Cactus Saddlery saddles and Rattler rope bags to a Smarty sled and more, the Finale was built to reward competitors throughout the BRC classification system.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

The 2026 Finale brought ropers of different levels into the same building with the opportunity to compete within their classification, rope for meaningful payouts and leave Oklahoma City with championship titles on the line.

Cinch Breakaway Roping Championships Spring Thaw Results

Competition continued on Day 2 of the Cinch Breakaway Roping Championships Spring Thaw in Loveland, Colorado, where ropers across multiple classifications turned in fast runs and strong performances throughout the day.

The Cinch Breakaway Roping Championships Spring Thaw in Loveland, Colorado delivered a full day of competition as ropers from multiple classifications competed for cash, buckles, and fast times.

The day started with the Total Feeds, Inc. Open, where Jessie Miller put together an 11.42 on 3 to take the win and $1,390. Gracyn Kummer followed with an 11.64 on 3, earning $930.

Rayna Billingsley set the pace early with the fast time of Round 1 at 2.79 and followed it up with the fast time of Round 2 at 2.90. In the Short Go, Jami Garson posted a 2.58, the fastest run of the final round.

The day continued with the #5 Cinch Slide, where Dot Veatch won the roping with an 11.07 on three, earning $1,460. Jessie Miller added another strong finish, taking second with a 12.22 on three for $980.

Youth 12 & Under Breakaway Champion - Carter Johnston

Round fast times included Jami Garson with a 3.08 in Round 1, Olivia Lay with a 2.42 in Round 2, and Libby Winchell with the Short Go fast time of 4.14.

The #1 Smarty Shootout followed, with Harper James coming out on top.

Next up was the Youth 12 & Under Breakaway showcasing the future of the sport, with Carter Johnston earning the championship buckle.

In the #2 American Hat Company Shootout, Harper Schneider claimed the buckle with a 10.01 on three to take the win and $180. Schneider also recorded the fast time in Round 1 with a 3.22, while Libbie Tharp set the Round 2 fast time with a 3.10. Alyssa Salazar posted the Short Go fast time at 2.25.

The final roping of the day was the #3 Priefert Handicap, where Dot Veatch added another win to the day with an 8.69 on 3, earning $860. In the Short Go, Jami Garson closed out the event with the Short Go fast time of 2.76.

The Spring Thaw once again demonstrated the mission of the Cinch Breakaway Roping Championships — creating competitive opportunities for ropers of every level through a structured classification system.

Day 1 Results from Loveland as Spring Thaw Continues

Day one of the CINCH Breakaway Roping Championships Spring Thaw is in the books. Catch up on the winners from Saturday’s competition in Loveland as the event continues into Day 2.

The Cinch Breakaway Roping Championships Spring Thaw kicked off in Loveland, Colorado, and we’re bringing you Day 1 results straight from the arena.

While the weekend is just getting started, competitors were already cashing checks, winning buckles and laying down fast runs as the first day of roping wrapped up. With another full day of competition still ahead, there’s plenty left to rope for at the Spring Thaw.

Here’s a look at the Day 1 winners and fast times.

Total Feeds Open

Taya McAdow claimed the win in the Total Feeds Open, finishing with a 12.37 on three head to earn $1,465.

Whitney Lee followed closely behind, placing second with a 12.59 on three to take home $975.

#5 Cinch Slide

The #5 CINCH Slide championship belonged to Jami Garson, who roped her way to the top of the average to earn $1,600.

Short Go: Jami Garson – 2.90

Youth 12 and Under Breakaway

Willow Oliverius added another buckle to her day by winning the Youth 12 & Under Breakaway and earning $120.

#1 Smarty Shootout (Sled)

Willow Oliverius dominated the #1 Smarty Rodeo Shootout, finishing with a 13.06 on three to claim the buckle.

She also set the pace throughout the roping, turning in the fastest runs in each round.

Round 1: Willow Oliverius - 4.57
Round 2: Willow Oliverius - 3.55

CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM:

Designed to elevate breakaway roping by creating a national database and classification system that allows everyone to compete and win, the Cinch BRC provides ropers with an exclusive opportunity to compete for substantial payouts. The format is straightforward: based on the ropers skill level and earnings they will be given a classification. The classification number may change determined by a roper's win/loss ratio and catch/time percentage, in comparison to other competitors. A classification system ranging from 1 to 6, with a number 1 roper being brand new to the sport and a number 6 roper being a professional. Different ropings designed for everyone: Open Ropings, Slide Ropings, Handicap Ropings, Beginner Ropings, and Youth Ropings.
