The inaugural Cinch Breakaway Roping Championships Finale is OPEN TO EVERYONE—no qualifications, just opportunity.
The 2026 Cinch BRC Finale is where the gates swing wide open and pro athletes, rising competitors, and first-time ropers compete side-by-side in a true championship atmosphere. It’s a place where everyone has a seat at the table and the opportunity to achieve meets you at your level.

Competitors may purchase a membership online through our website or in person at the entry office at any BRC event.

Members will receive confirmation within 3 business days after joining.
If you have not received your Membership ID after 3 business days, please contact the BRC Office at 817-565-8677.

In this inaugural year, there is no qualification requirements for the Finale.
All competitors must hold a current membership, and all first -year membership are FREE.

Competitors may pre-enter and pay through the website or enter onsite with a late fee.

Open ropings:
Open to everyone. No hanicap.
Handicap ropings:
The number of the roping represents the highest rated roper allowed to enter.
Example: In a #4, only ropers rated 4 or lower may enter.
Ropers receive 0.2 seconds off their time for each number they are below the roping number.
Example:
#3 in a #4 roping = 0.2 seconds off
#2 in a #4 roping = 0.4 seconds off
Producers may set a Maximum Handicap (Max HC).
Example: A #4 with a 0.2 Max HC means no roper may receive more than 0.2 seconds off, regardless of rating.
Slide ropings:
Open to all ropers.
0.2 seconds added for every number above the roping number
0.2 seconds taken off for every number below the roping number
A maximum Handicap may also apply.
Floor Rule:
Some ropings may have a floor, meaning competitors must be that number or higher to enter.
Youth Ropings:
Age is determined as of January 1 of the current year.

Yes. BRC dress code applies.
Full western attire is required: button-down shirt, cowboy hat and boots.
